About Lance Creek Maintenance Supervisor

As a skilled Maintenance Supervisor at Lance Creek, you will be responsible for leading and supervising the maintenance team activities to ensure the plant operates with minimal downtime due to mechanical faults or failures.

The successful candidate will have direct experience in a manufacturing operation, particularly in meat processing, and a proven track record of successfully managing a repair and preventative maintenance team.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and technical skills, as well as experience in MEX or a similar CMMS system.

In addition, they will have demonstrated capability in effective contractor management and coordination, and the ability to work through change and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The Maintenance Supervisor will also be responsible for administering shift resources, working closely with production managers and other supervisors to deliver quality outcomes, and maximizing employee health and safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead the maintenance team activities
  • Deliver reactive and preventative maintenance support
  • Ensure the plant has minimal lost time due to mechanical fault/failure
  • Administer shift resources appropriately
  • Work closely with all production managers, other supervisors to deliver quality outcomes

Requirements:

  • Direct experience in a manufacturing operation, especially meat processing
  • A proven successful management record in leading a repair and preventative maintenance team
  • Computer literacy skills, including Word, Citec
  • Experience in MEX or a similar CMMS
  • Demonstrated capability in effective contractor management and coordination
  • Ability to work through change, drive continuous improvement initiatives and have exceptional communication, negotiation, technical and leadership skills
