About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Communications professional to lead our Business Unit Communications team. As a key member of the Communications Leadership Team, you will play a critical role in protecting and enhancing Australia Post's reputation and social licence to operate.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing and executing effective communication strategies, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and driving business outcomes. You will work closely with the General Manager, Corporate Communication, to develop and implement the over-arching external communications strategy and messaging for the Enterprise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute communication plans to support business objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including leaders, team members, and external partners
  • Collaborate with the Communications Leadership Team to develop and implement the Enterprise's external communications strategy
  • Provide strategic advice and guidance to business leaders on communication matters
  • Manage and coordinate the development of communication materials, including reports, presentations, and media releases
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies and make recommendations for improvement
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Communications professional who is passionate about delivering business outcomes through effective communication. You will have a strong understanding of the Communications function and be able to demonstrate your expertise in developing and executing communication strategies.

You will be a natural communicator with excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. You will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
