Port Planning Expert

This is a senior role within the Bridges, Maritime and Structures team, where you will collaborate with talented professionals to drive future-ready outcomes for clients and communities.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop port and intermodal master planning projects across Australia and the region, including greenfield developments and projects within existing ports.

- Work across different project phases from initial concepts through to detailed terminal plans.

- Identify and evaluate practical solutions to client challenges.

- Collaborate with colleagues in the Australian and Global maritime teams, contributing to our global port planning network.

- Analyze and interpret data, preparing high-quality reports and presentations.

- Support business development, contributing to winning proposals and promoting our team at industry events.

- Mentor new members of staff and participate in site visits as necessary.

Requirements:

- 10-30 years of experience in port planning and related sectors.

- Proven experience in delivering master plans for port and intermodal projects.

- Excellent working knowledge of port and intermodal terminal automation approaches, benefits, and limitations.

- Ability to deliver technically sound advice within project scope, budget, and schedule.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
