Job Description:

We are seeking a Cyber Security Professional to support the development and execution of programs aimed at enhancing cyber security maturity across energy grids and markets. This role will involve coordinating with government authorities and industry stakeholders to inform incident response strategies, enhance frameworks for risk management, and promote shared understanding of emerging threats.

  • This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as in-depth knowledge of relevant security control and maturity frameworks, jurisdictional structures, and contemporary cyber adversary techniques.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Analysis and Communication Skills: The ability to analyze complex information, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Cyber Security Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of security control and maturity frameworks relevant to the energy sector, including ISO 27001 and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
  • Knowledge of Jurisdictional Structures: Understanding of jurisdictional structures and arrangements across State, Territory, and Commonwealth governments with respect to energy and cyber security.
  • Contemporary Knowledge: Contemporary knowledge of cyber adversary techniques and tradecraft, including threat intelligence and incident response strategies.
  • Procurement, Program, and Project Management Skills: Ability to manage procurement processes, coordinate program activities, and oversee project timelines.
  • Financial/Budget Management: Experience with financial/budget management, scheduling, and resource allocation.
