Job Title: Cyber Security Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Specialist to safeguard our digital assets. As a key member of the security team, you will play a pivotal role in protecting our organisation from cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor security events and alerts to detect and respond to potential incidents.
  • Analyse data and artifacts to identify indicators of compromise and emerging threats.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on systems and networks.
  • Participate in incident response activities, including triage and containment.
  • Maintain and manage security tools and technologies.
  • Document and report security incidents and risks to stakeholders.
  • Support the development of security policies and best practices.
  • Provide guidance to IT teams and business units on security measures and risk mitigation strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in information security or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a cybersecurity role.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and frameworks.
  • Proficiency with security tools and technologies.
  • Knowledge of common threats and attack vectors.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
