Job Title: Senior Payroll Officer
Job Description:The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This role requires a high degree of attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process payroll on a weekly and fortnightly basis for over 1,200 employees.
- First point of contact for any payroll queries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with awards, fair work, ATO, and other regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in senior payroll capacity.
- Ability to interpret remuneration packages, including allowances, bonuses, commissions, salary sacrifice, and fringe benefits.
- Experience working with complex payroll environments, including multiple awards, shiftwork, penalties, and overtime.
- Familiarity with iChris and/or Employment Hero payroll systems is advantageous.
- Kronos knowledge is a bonus.
