Fraud Risk Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Fraud Risk Specialist to join our team in investigating and preventing fraudulent activities. This is an exciting opportunity to make a genuine difference in the community through your work.
The successful candidate will be accountable for:
- Assessing red flag alerts and potential fraudulent activity
- Monitoring transactions and conducting investigations to identify scams
- Contacting customers via outbound calls to inform them of compromised accounts
- Providing education on fraud prevention and account protection
- Liaising with other banks and internal departments
This is a full-time 12-month temporary assignment, offering a competitive hourly rate plus superannuation. There is also the possibility of becoming permanent or extending the contract.
Please note that flexibility is required as the team works on rotating rosters, including overnight shifts and weekends.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in banking, call centres, or case management (1+ year)
- 24/7 flexibility to work on a rotating roster
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong resilience and work ethic
- High energy and problem-solving ability
