Job Title: Venue Operations Coordinator


The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) is seeking a motivated Venue Operations Coordinator to support the relocation of our operations to a new venue. This role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth transition of our business activities and transactions from the current locations to the new venue.


The successful candidate will have experience in coordinating office relocations or fit-out projects, including managing logistics, assets, operations, facilities, events or administrative support. They will also possess strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and timelines in a dynamic environment.


The ideal candidate will have demonstrated the ability to engage and support a diverse range of stakeholders, with experience working in a change environment. They will also possess strong proactive abilities, applying flexibility and adaptability to meet objectives, as well as sound knowledge and application of technology and software applications.


The successful candidate will work closely with the on-site facility team for any facility-related operations at VCAT and provide support for the move to a new location, managing logistical and administrative aspects of the transition. This role is responsible for:

  • participating in the planning and management of relocation activities
  • coordinating pre-relocation activities such as the disposal of obsolete items, materials, equipment and furniture
  • liaising closely with removalist contractors in the preparation of the relocation move, including communication with internal stakeholders
  • supporting the inventory process to ensure accurate tracking and preparation for the move
  • maintaining clear and consistent communication with VCAT's members and staff, landlords, moving companies and other relevant parties.


This role is fixed term until 30 June 2026. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team, with career development opportunities available.
