As a key member of our Engineering Construction division, you'll be responsible for providing detailed quantity and technical data to support the preparation and analysis of Contract Variations, Progress Claims, and Earned Value Reporting.

With a focus on delivering high-quality work, you'll work closely with our Project Controls Manager and other staff to make the best use of resources. You'll also liaise with client representatives, supplier representatives, and sub-contractors to ensure seamless project execution.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing information and correspondences for contractual variations and reporting.
  • Working closely with Project Controls Manager and other staff to make the best use of resources.
  • Liaising with client representatives, supplier representatives, and sub-contractors.
  • Providing timely guidance and advice to ensure contract and quantity surveying activities comply with laws, regulations, policies, systems, and guidelines.
  • Analyzing project cost data, making recommendations for action regarding contract interpretation from post-contract to final account.
  • Analyzing materials, products, or qualitative or quantitative work outputs for quality, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Providing advice on contract interpretation, payments, changes in scope of works, variations, claims, and final accounts to project management teams.
  • Understanding and interpreting detailed engineering drawings. Translating drawings for purposes of tendering, procurement, resourcing, project scheduling, and risk identification.
  • Preparing project budgets and managing costs and progress claims.

  • Contract administration/quantity surveying experience, preferably within the heavy industrial sectors (maintenance or construction).
  • Excellent communication skills with proven experience of building relationships at all levels of an organization.

  • Intermediate user of MS Office Suite (particularly Word & Excel) to assemble and maintain documents, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
