Claims Specialist

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled insurance lawyer to work closely with our team in handling complex litigation matters.
The position involves reviewing evidence, preparing legal advice on indemnity, liability, and quantum, communicating with clients, identifying issues, briefing experts, analysing opinions, and preparing court documents.
- Managing files and meeting deadlines;
- Reviewing evidence and providing legal advice on indemnity, liability, and quantum;
- Communicating effectively with clients both in writing and verbally;
- Identifying key issues, briefing experts, and analysing their opinions;
- Preparing court documents, including statements of evidence;
- Drafting correspondence and communicating with other legal practitioners;
- Preparing for, managing online processes, and representing the firm in Court;
- Briefing and liaising with counsel; and
- Staying up-to-date on industry regulations, case law, and emerging trends in professional indemnity and medical negligence law.
We are seeking a motivated and experienced insurance lawyer with between 1-5 years' experience in professional indemnity and/or medical negligence.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and concisely.
A strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a client-service focus are essential for this role.
