About the Role

This position oversees operational, financial, administrative, and service delivery support for bi-national committees to meet member needs and expectations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing plans and strategies to enhance committee contributions to the profession, community, members, and organization.
  • Managing and supporting the staff team, focusing on process improvements, efficiency increases, and stakeholder relationships.
  • Providing administrative support and resources to bi-national committees.
  • Engaging and influencing committees in developing work plans aligned with their purpose and organizational priorities. Developing budgets in collaboration with committees to mobilize work plans.
  • Coordinating briefing papers and reports to support committees' involvement with key stakeholders.
  • Offering advice, analysis, and support to ensure committee productivity.

Requirements

Proven ability to lead, manage, and develop teams. Relevant tertiary qualifications or minimum three years management experience preferably in a membership, health, or not-for-profit environment. Experience working with multiple inter-related committees to achieve operational and strategic objectives. Financial and operational planning, project management, and risk management expertise required. Australian or New Zealand citizen or holds the right to work in Australia.
