About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Project Coordinator to lead our defence and construction projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your project management skills and work with a reputable company in the industry.

Job Summary:

  • Manage remediation projects from initial setup through to completion
  • Ensure compliance with HSECQ requirements
  • Ensure effective cost control and efficient running of the project
  • Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors
  • Project progress reporting and conducting weekly meetings
  • Provision of advice on any technical and engineering issues
  • Liaise closely with the client ensuring project runs to program
  • Involvement with tendering/estimation
  • Create and modify ITP's and SWMS
  • Raise RFI's and track responses

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, Project Management or Construction Management
  • A high level of understanding and appreciation for safety
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Solid programming and planning skills
  • Experience in a similar role within a Contractor environment is preferred
  • Be adaptable and flexible to travel around the ACT Region
  • Police Clearance
