Senior Marine Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Marine Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine engineering and a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

About the Role

This critical role involves translating client requirements into functioning assets, overseeing all stages of design with high analytical skill, and ensuring industry and regulatory compliance to meet our clients' future needs. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leveraging mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills in your discipline to assist in project design and implementation.
  • Establishing design-related hypotheses for testing through data analysis and resolving design gaps.
  • Undertaking packages of design work with minimal supervision, showcasing your experience and technical mastery.
  • Producing and reviewing technical drawings, 3D models, and plans, as well as creating material requisition specifications.
  • Contributing to co-creating innovative solutions and bringing ideas to life by understanding and meeting our clients' future needs.
  • Adding value across the entire project lifecycle, from feasibility and concept design to detailed design, while ensuring adherence to regulations and industry best practices.
  • Working with the team to transform client and project specifications into operational assets, encompassing infrastructure critical to mining, renewable energy, defence, and trade sectors.
