Our team of highly skilled and certified technicians delivers high-quality workmanship and outstanding service through well-equipped marina based workshop and mobile service vehicles. We are authorised dealers for major brands like VOLVO PENTA, Cummins ONAN, VETUS MAXWELL and KOHLER , and provide priority access to parts and specialized diagnostic equipment. Our technicians regularly undergo training to stay current with new engine electronic systems, ensuring the highest level of engineering support.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Marine Technician at Seatech Marine, located on the Gold Coast, QLD. The Marine Technician will primarily be responsible for the maintenance and repair of marine engines and electrical systems. Daily tasks include diagnosing engine issues, performing regular maintenance, repowering vessels and repairing or replacing engine components. Candidates will work both in our workshop, around the marina and on-site in our mobile vehicles to deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Boat Maintenance & Repair (or similar mechanical businesses)
  • Knowledge of Marine Engines, Motors & Systems
  • 12v Electrical Wiring skills
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Relevant technical certifications or qualifications in marine technology or similar mechanical fields
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
