About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join our team at The Recruitment Alternative. In this autonomous role, you will be working closely with the Director, managing current projects, communicating with consultants & suppliers, managing and tracking project accounts, assisting with estimating and general administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Submit council applications relating to developments
  • Coordinate, source and support material procurement and ordering activities
  • Job forecasting and cost management
  • Produce detailed scope of works and attend to all contractual matters
  • Process progress claims, variations and invoices
  • Obtain tenders from sub-contractors for required works
  • Collate and compile project completion handover documentation
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental responsibilities
Requirements
  • 3-4 years' experience in a similar role and have experience in the building industry (commercial/industrial construction)
  • Competent at interpreting construction and engineering plans and specifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite and Xero software
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work across multiple projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work to tight timeframes
  • Own car and open car license
