Role Summary
The Casual Assistant Director of Nursing position at a Residential Aged Care and Acute facility presents an exciting opportunity for a dynamic nursing professional to take on a leadership role in driving high-quality patient care.
About the Position
As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will be responsible for providing expert nursing guidance and support to staff across various areas of care. This is an ideal role for a motivated and experienced Registered Nurse seeking to advance their career in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff in Residential Aged Care and Acute settings
- Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of care services
- Supervise and coordinate the work of nursing staff, including delegation and problem-solving
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and quality improvement within the team
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Competence with Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council (ANMAC) Standards
- Minimum of 4 years relevant clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in Residential Aged Care and Acute settings
- Demonstrated experience in nursing management and leadership
- Proven excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lead a team and contribute to a positive work environment
