Clinical Coordinator Role Overview

The Clinical Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the STAR team, providing clinical and operational expertise to ensure seamless coordination across the Inner North and North West AOD Catchments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Meeting monthly targets while maintaining accountability to stakeholders.
  • Providing clinical oversight, facilitating reflective practice, and assessment review.
  • Offering clinical supervision and line management to staff, promoting effective teamwork.
  • Networking and contributing to the overall functioning of the program.
  • Managing administrative demands of a leadership role, including a small caseload of assessment, counselling, care, and recovery participants.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and Cert IV AOD/mental health competencies.
  • Experience in the AOD sector (required).
  • Certificate IV Community Services (AOD) or 4 core AOD competencies (or willingness to complete within the first 12 months of employment).
  • A full current driver's license.
