Senior Associate Medical Information Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Information Specialist to join our Regional Medical Information team at Amgen SA. As a Medical Information Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our call centre operations, Medical Information initiatives, and handling escalated inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaboration & Administration: Support the Regional Medical Information team with the management of enquiries (from patients and healthcare professionals) across APAC.
- Support Regional Call Centre operations, training, and quality oversight.
- Contribute to local/regional/global Medical Information projects and cross-functional shared goals.
- Resources & Planning: Maintain local content repositories and manage content for the Call Centre.
- Analyze Medical Information content needs and provide input to global scientific teams.
- Adapt and maintain content according to local/regional requirements.
- Report on trends and insights for assigned products to business stakeholders.
- Performance & Compliance: Respond to escalated inquiries in compliance with regulations and company guidelines.
- Ensure target service levels and customer expectations are met for the Call Centre.
- Maintain and expand product and therapeutic area knowledge.
- Stay current on regulations and codes affecting Medical Information.
Requirements:
- Education: BSc Phm, Pharm D, RN, MD, Ph D, MSc, or BSc or equivalent essential.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in Medical Information essential.
- Direct clinical experience: e.g., pharmacy, nursing, medicine favourable.
- Proficiency in literature searches, scientific literature appraisal, and writing.
- Experience in project management, cross-functional collaboration, and working with consultants/vendors.
- Residency and Work rights in Australia essential.
