We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Information Specialist to join our Regional Medical Information team at Amgen SA. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting our call centre operations, Medical Information initiatives, and handling escalated inquiries.
Key Responsibilities- Collaboration & Administration: Support the Regional Medical Information team with the management of enquiries (from patients and healthcare professionals) across APAC, including:
- Supporting Regional Call Centre operations, training, and quality oversight.
- Contributing to local/regional/global Medical Information projects and cross-functional shared goals.
- Resources & Planning: Maintain local content repositories and manage content for the Call Centre, including:
- Analyzing Medical Information content needs and providing input to global scientific teams.
- Adapting and maintaining content according to local/regional requirements.
- Reporting on trends and insights for assigned products to business stakeholders.
- Performance & Compliance: Respond to escalated inquiries in compliance with regulations and company guidelines, including:
- Ensuring target service levels and customer expectations are met for the Call Centre.
- Maintaining and expanding product and therapeutic area knowledge.
- Staying current on regulations and codes affecting Medical Information.
- BScPhm, PharmD, RN, MD, PhD, MSc, or BSc or equivalent essential.
- At least 3 years of experience in Medical Information essential.
- Direct clinical experience (e.g., pharmacy, nursing, medicine) favourable.
- Proficiency in literature searches, scientific literature appraisal, and writing.
- Experience in project management, cross-functional collaboration, and working with consultants/vendors.
- Residency and Work rights in Australia essential.
