About Exploration

As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in the management and governance of a portfolio of exploration investments. Your technical expertise will be essential in identifying opportunities for value creation.

The success of this role depends on your ability to collaborate with other teams around the globe. You will own and maintain portfolio infrastructure and customer communications, including SharePoint sites, guidance documents, tools, and communications.

Key responsibilities include coordinating exploration investment and performance review routines through stakeholder communication, preparation of facilitation and pre-read materials, and recording of meeting minutes, actions, and decisions.

Another key aspect of this role is facilitating investment decision framing to drive collaboration among key stakeholders. You will identify key value drivers and align investment proposals with exploration portfolio strategy.

You will also support portfolio planning and prioritization routines by preparing facilitation and pre-read materials. This includes developing and communicating insights that support data-driven decision making.

Additionally, you will support the maintenance of the portfolio management tool, particularly focusing on data quality. You will work closely with specialist data and reporting to optimize configuration for a high-quality customer experience.

Requirements

  • Relevant post-qualification experience in portfolio management and/or project management.
  • A degree qualification is highly regarded.
  • Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on clear communication of analytical approaches, results, and articulation of relevant insights as key inputs to decision making.
  • Grounded in business context and strategic objectives but capable and willing to dive into details when required.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point, with experience/proficiency in Power BI.
