Security Officer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and professional security officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment through regular patrols, surveillance camera monitoring, and timely response to alarms and emergencies.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular security patrols to identify and mitigate potential threats
  • Monitor CCTV cameras to detect suspicious activities and report incidents promptly
  • Respond to alarms and emergencies in a timely and effective manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and their guests
  • Enforce property rules and regulations to maintain order and discipline
  • Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records to inform future decisions
  • Assist with crowd control and manage access points to prevent unauthorized access
  • Provide basic first aid when necessary to ensure the well-being of individuals
Requirements:
  • Valid Security License to operate in the industry
  • RSA Card to demonstrate proficiency in security protocols
  • First Aid certification to respond to medical emergencies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations to de-escalate conflicts
  • Strong attention to detail and observation skills to identify potential threats
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays to accommodate business needs
