Job Opportunity: Security Officer

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Security Officer. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing a safe and supportive environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

The successful candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a multicultural team environment, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service while ensuring the safety and well-being of all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with managing patients, visitors, and staff, and secure the assets of South Western Sydney Local Health District.
  • Emphasize early identification, prevention, and management of incidents according to work health and safety legislation.
  • Provide a safe environment for staff, patients, and visitors at all times.

Requirements:

  • A current NSW Security Licence in accordance with the NSW Security Industry 1997 Class 1A.
  • First Aid Certification and an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2).
  • Participation in a 7 day rotating roster that includes weekends, public and school holidays, including morning, afternoon and night shifts.
