Nursing Education and Research Opportunity

The School of Population Health at UNSW seeks a highly experienced academic to lead the development, delivery, and enhancement of high-quality nursing education. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior academic to advance outstanding nursing education and research at national and international levels.

Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Academic in Nursing with a proven track record in teaching, learning design, and curriculum accreditation. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and advancing nursing education and research initiatives, fostering strong research partnerships, and contributing to the School's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver high-quality nursing education programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Lead research collaborations and partnerships to advance nursing practice and policy.
  • Foster a culture of excellence in learning and teaching, promoting innovation and inclusivity.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve School and Faculty goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A PhD in Nursing or related discipline, and/or relevant work experience.
  • Evidence of academic excellence in nursing education and research, with a national/international profile.
  • Registered Nurse eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
  • Experience with curriculum accreditation and alignment with NMBA and TEQSA standards.
