Automotive Inventory Specialist

We are seeking an organised and enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Automotive Parts Manager at one of our Melbourne based Dealerships.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all activities related to the sale of parts and accessories to internal and external customers. This includes timely issuance of parts to service/workshop and retail customers, handling incoming telephone queries and orders in an efficient, polite and professional manner, and providing leadership and direction to Parts employees to ensure sales activities align with the broader business plan.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and evaluate sales revenue, margins and expense performance to maintain profit goals and initiate corrective action.
- BUILD AND MAINTAIN CUSTOMER LOYALTY AND SUPPORT THROUGH EFFECTIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE STRATEGIES.
- Ensure daily orders are placed on time.
- Maintain a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the department, ensuring stock is readily available without carrying excessive inventory.
Requirements:
- Possess strong technical/mechanical knowledge and ability.
- Have a wide range of parts on various vehicle brands.
- Exhibit excellent telephone and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate high levels of organisation, with excellent time management skills.
