About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at PRP Diagnostic Imaging in Bathurst. As a key member of our ultrasound team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of ultrasound services, including General Ultrasound, MSK, Obstetric, Vascular, and image-guided procedures.
  • Liaise closely with doctors and other medical professionals to ensure high-quality images and accurate reports.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with patients, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new imaging protocols and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and education to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Qualification in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound and current accreditation with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).
  • Core competency in either General, Small parts, or MSK.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • A caring and respectful attitude towards patients.
