About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at PRP Diagnostic Imaging in Bathurst. As a key member of our ultrasound team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including General Ultrasound, MSK, Obstetric, Vascular, and image-guided procedures.
  • Liaise closely with doctors and other medical professionals to ensure high-quality images and excellent patient outcomes.
  • Supply excellent customer service, in accordance with PRP values.
  • Invest in technology and processes that deliver improvement to reporting services and patient experience.
About You

You must have a reputation for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations independently while providing exceptional patient care. You must have the ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and other medical and non-medical personnel.

  • Qualification in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound and current accreditation with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).
  • Core competency in either General, Small parts, or MSK.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • A caring and respectful attitude to our patients.
