About the Role

This is an exciting position for a Paediatrician who can provide clinical leadership to a team of clinicians working with children. Your focus will be on driving access to culturally appropriate, high-quality, comprehensive paediatric health services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

This role has a strong primary care component, as well as a focus on developmental and general paediatrics. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop improved child health services that meet the needs of our community.

What We're Looking For
  • AHPRA registration with a minimum of two years post-Fellowship clinical experience.
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians – General Paediatrician.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with people from diverse cultural and social backgrounds.
  • Highly developed organisational skills, with the ability to plan, manage and prioritise tasks and resources.
  • Experience working in a cross-cultural and complex environment, with a strong understanding of the importance of community-controlled organisations.
  • Knowledge of the Australian healthcare system and contemporary health policy.
