Job Description

Provide specialist paediatric cardiology care to infants, children and young adults at a tertiary referral hospital.

As a senior medical professional, you will work in a diverse setting, providing advice to colleagues and participating in emergency after hours care. You will also contribute to the dynamic department focused on Indigenous health and complex tropical diseases.

The role involves working with a team of experts to deliver comprehensive services in all specialty areas, including paediatric cardiology. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of clinical guidelines and policies.

Requirements
  • Eligibility for general and/or specialist registration with the relevant medical board.
  • Completed a fellowship in Paediatric Cardiology with a reputable college of physicians.
  • Demonstrated commitment to improving Indigenous health, with an understanding of rheumatic heart disease.
  • A minimum of six years full-time (or equivalent) service as a Staff Specialist.
