Job Title: Production Supervisor

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of production activities.

In this role, you will be responsible for supervising front-line operational personnel and ensuring that they are working in line with the production plan and targets for safety, culture, volume, and cost.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and managing operational performance and productivity
  • Performing regular workplace and equipment inspections to ensure ongoing safety, reliability, and compliance
  • Developing and communicating the weekly and shift production plan
  • Providing direction and support to direct reports

To be successful in this role, you will require strong leadership skills, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, and a proven track record of driving results in a mining environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of mining production processes and procedures. You will also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.

You will need to hold a current 'C' class driver's license and have proficiency in 1SAP, MS Office, and Fleet Management Systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 5-7 years' experience in a mining production environment
  • Detailed knowledge of procedures related to the operation of the department
  • Previous supervisor experience (minimum 2-4 years)
  • Competence in 1SAP, MS Office, and Fleet Management Systems
