About the Role

\

We are seeking a seasoned Production Operations Manager to oversee our packaging operations, ensuring timely, high-quality, and cost-effective production of products.

\

The successful candidate will lead and manage all aspects of the packaging function, developing and maintaining schedules aligned with production plans and customer requirements.

\

A key aspect of this role is supervising, training, and supporting packaging staff to foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

\

This role involves ensuring packaging operations comply with regulatory, safety, and quality standards, managing financial costs, and monitoring equipment performance.

\

As part of this team, you will evaluate and recommend new packaging equipment, technologies, or materials to enhance process efficiency and sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams working in FMCG or dairy food packing businesses\
  • Implement improvements in people safety, food safety, and operational excellence\
  • Develop and maintain packaging schedules aligned with production plans and customer requirements\
  • Supervise, train, and support packaging staff\
  • Evaluate and recommend new packaging equipment, technologies, or materials\
  • Monitor equipment performance and coordinate with maintenance\
  • Optimize packaging material and liquid material usage\
  • Manage the financial cost within this cost centre\
  • Provide monthly forecast updates and optimize costs, efficiencies, yields, and wastage\
  • Participate and lead NPD projects within packaging\
  • Evaluate and implement best practices across packaging processes\
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration\\
