Key Roles and Responsibilities

A Food and Beverage Attendant plays a vital role in creating great restaurant memories. They welcome guests, recommend food and drink, and help keep service on-track and up to standard.

By tailoring each guest's experience to their unique tastes, they create memories as delightful as the dishes.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working as a Food and Beverage Attendant at a luxury hotel. Mandatory certifications include RSA Certification.

Key responsibilities:

  • Report to work punctually ten minutes prior to start time on the roster, dressed in appropriate uniform and with impeccable grooming
  • Maintain cleanliness and appearance of immediate work area, including tables, stations, bar area, back-of-house preparation areas etc.
  • Be familiar with food and beverage item par stocks, requisitioning procedures and transfers
  • Perform department/outlet opening or closing duties as required
  • Assist colleagues as required
  • Maintain a cost conscious attitude at all times
  • Actively report workplace hazards, injuries and accidents arising from workplace activities
Requirements

Full working rights in Australia without restrictions are mandatory. Prior experience working as a Food and Beverage Attendant at a luxury hotel is preferred. The ideal candidate will also possess passion for providing luxury experiences, ongoing availability to work flexibly as rostered, including nights, weekends and public holidays, impeccable grooming standards and good personal hygiene, an organised approach, ability to handle large amounts of information at once, good communication and writing skills.
