Job Description

The Senior Financial Accountant will play a pivotal role in managing comprehensive financial reporting processes and consolidation activities within the company. This includes:

  • Preparation and consolidation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Streamlining financial reporting processes to improve efficiency and data integrity across multiple business units.
  • Collaboration with finance teams to ensure consistency in financial reporting and uphold best practices across the organization.
  • Analysis of financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
  • Overseeing the adoption and utilization of financial systems to enhance reporting capabilities.
  • Liaising with external auditors to ensure all financial reporting meets regulatory and statutory compliance requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess:

  • A Chartered Accountant qualification with extensive experience in financial reporting and consolidations.
  • A proven track record in a senior accounting role, ideally within the facility management, services, or related industries.
  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and other relevant accounting frameworks.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial systems and Excel, capable of handling complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage financial projects effectively.
