Fleet Manager Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Fleet Manager to lead our fleet operations, ensuring high standards of safety and performance are met while optimising profitability and business efficiency.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage with the fleet team to plan and coordinate daily activities. Key responsibilities include managing labour costs, customer satisfaction, and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the fleet team by setting and maintaining work standards and behaviours
  • Coordinate, direct and deploy resources to ensure operational requirements are met
  • Effectively manage labour costs and productivity
  • Liaise closely with sales personnel to achieve business expectations
  • Ensure all relevant policies and legislative requirements are made available to drivers
  • Manage and maintain motor vehicle accidents in accordance with company procedures
