ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Operational Excellence to support and inspire our Operations team. In this pivotal role, you will drive operational performance, optimize customer-centric processes, and support the continuous uplift of operational excellence capabilities. You will play a key role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring efficiency, and aligning processes with business objectives to deliver exceptional results. As a people leader, you will mentor and coach your team, aligning them with business goals while fostering an environment of growth, engagement, and development.

You will make an impact through:

  • Operational performance and business intelligence – Driving operational performance by partnering with leaders to maintain data-driven scorecards, ensuring accurate and timely data, aligning measures with business goals, and preparing key reports for executives and the board.
  • Continuous improvement & client centric design - Leading impactful engagements that drive operational efficiency, revenue, and NPS, supporting the design and delivery of a client-centric future state service model, championing intelligent automation, and providing thought leadership in business architecture to ensure operational teams are structured for quality delivery, exceptional client experience, and aligned incentives.
  • Operational excellence capability – Support the leadership team in the uplift of Operational Excellence capabilities within the broader operations team, driving continuous development and improvement.
  • Demonstrate strong strategic thinking by analyzing complex data to derive actionable insights, develop well-informed recommendations, and effectively influence outcomes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving impactful results.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in the role, you will possess the following background and skills:

  • Degree qualified in Business or a related field is highly preferred combined with Green Belt certification; equivalent experience in lieu of degree may also be considered.
  • Experience in leveraging automation and AI for process design, with a strong understanding of how to utilize these tools to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Strong team player with excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills to drive collaboration and alignment.
  • Confident communicator who speaks up, challenges the status quo, and maintains a positive, solution-focused approach.
  • Curiosity-driven with a passion for continuous learning and a deep commitment to understanding customer needs and enhancing experiences.
  • Proficient in data analysis and applying insights to drive customer-centric design and operational excellence, including capacity planning and performance optimization.
  • Proven leadership and coaching abilities, with a focus on uplifting capabilities beyond direct teams to foster growth and operational success.
