Position Overview
Our esteemed Restructuring & Insolvency practice group is acknowledged as one of the premier teams in Australia. Given the scale and nature of our operations, you will have the chance to engage with a diverse array of cases, including international matters, supported by a robust leadership team qualified in various jurisdictions.
Our clientele comprises major Australian and international banks, leading corporations, investment banks, fund managers, and professional trustees.
To excel in this position, you should possess substantial experience in handling large-scale commercial insolvency and/or restructuring cases, demonstrating the capability to manage matters while being part of a cohesive and collaborative team. Key Responsibilities
Engage in a wide range of restructuring and insolvency cases, including international matters Draft legal opinions, prepare court documents, and represent clients in hearings Collaborate with a diverse and high-profile client base, facilitating negotiations Actively participate in business development and marketing strategies Contribute to the firm's values and culture through involvement in CSR, pro-bono, and social initiatives Mentor and guide junior lawyers within the teamRequired Qualifications
A minimum of + years PQE in a reputable Restructuring & Insolvency or Commercial Litigation practice A commercial mindset with experience in managing complex transactions Outstanding client relationship management skills Excellent analytical, technical, and drafting capabilitiesThe ideal candidate will be a collaborative and motivated individual with exceptional academic credentials.
