Procurement Expert Job Opportunity

This is a key role in the delivery of state election services, providing strategic advice and support to business units.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Offer timely procurement guidance and assistance to branches.
  • Review and manage high-value procurements and ECSA contracts.
  • Develop and communicate expertise on market approaches, tendering, and contracts.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline delegations and approval processes.
Key Requirements:
  • Familiarity with SA Government procurement policies.
  • Able to autonomously develop end-to-end procurement documentation.
  • Effective negotiation skills.
Additional Conditions:
  • This position is offered on a temporary basis until 2026.
  • No person active in political affairs may be an employee.
  • Criminal history check required.
  • Extended work hours may be necessary during elections.
Remuneration Information:
  • ASO6 - $98,478 to $104,165 per annum.
