The Role

We are seeking an experienced catering professional to join our team as a Catering Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to use your skills and experience to provide high-quality food and service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals for residents in accordance with their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents and visitors alike.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment at all times.
  • Assist with basic food preparation, including chopping, cooking and plating.
  • Clear dining areas and wash dishes after meals.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Cert III Hospitality or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working in a similar role, preferably in aged care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An understanding of Resident Rights and Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts throughout the week.
