The role of a Hospitality Assistant at Infinite Aged Care is to provide exceptional support to our residents in their daily needs, ensuring an outstanding dining experience and maintaining the cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas.

About the Position

  • Prepare and serve food with a focus on quality and presentation, meeting the expectations of our residents.\
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and dining areas, adhering to strict hygiene and sanitation standards, creating a safe environment for everyone.\
  • Assist with washing up, loading and unloading the dishwasher, working efficiently to meet deadlines.\
  • Maintain excellent safety awareness and adhere to set procedures, prioritizing the well-being of residents and staff.\
  • Support residents around the dining halls, ensuring a hazard-free environment and providing exceptional care.\
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals, fostering a positive team culture.\
  • Develop strong relationships with residents, understanding their needs and preferences, and tailoring support accordingly.\
  • Participate in ongoing training and development, enhancing skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service.\
  • Contribute to a positive work environment, being flexible and available to cover shifts as needed.\
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for improving services, promoting continuous improvement and excellence.\
  • Play an active role in achieving business objectives, supporting the organization's mission and values.\

About You

  • You will have 6 months' experience in a kitchen setting, preferably in the aged care sector, with a passion for delivering high-quality service.\
  • You possess strong workplace safety skills, can follow set procedures, and are an effective communicator, able to build rapport with residents and colleagues alike.\
  • You are able to problem-solve, work with limited supervision, and think on your feet, adapting to changing situations with ease.\
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage with residents, families, and staff, building trust and confidence.\
  • You are a hard worker, flexible, and available to cover shifts, demonstrating a commitment to delivering exceptional service.\
  • You are proactive, enthusiastic, and dedicated to your work, striving for excellence in all aspects of your role.\
