About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Counsel to join our team at Tennis Australia. As a key member of our legal team, you will provide expert legal advice and assistance to support the growth and development of our organization.

Your primary focus will be on contracting technology software and consultancy suppliers, contracting for content creation and sales, and advising on privacy and data governance queries and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with our business teams to provide sound legal advice and guidance
  • Prepare, draft, and negotiate contracts with suppliers and partners
  • Undertake legal research and stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations
  • Update and maintain our legal management platforms
  • Provide education and training to our teams on legal matters
About You

We are looking for a lawyer with 3-6 years of post-admission experience, preferably in a law firm or in-house legal team. You should have a principal practicing certificate and experience advising on IT and privacy matters. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills are essential.

You must also hold a current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
