We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team, working in a dynamic healthcare environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering person-centred nursing care to clients with substance use issues, utilising the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia – Registered Nurse Standards of Practice.
The role involves working collaboratively with the AODS team to provide contemporary clinical services, including intake and referral, consultancy, opioid treatment, counselling and therapy, and needle and syringe programs.
The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, and have knowledge of the National Drug Strategy and its application in alcohol and other drug treatment.

]Required Skills and Qualifications- Practice according to code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice
- Knowledge or ability to gain knowledge about National Drug Strategy and its application in alcohol and other drug treatment
- Contribute to positive client outcomes by providing comprehensive alcohol and other drug assessment, planning and evaluation of nursing care
- Actively participate in activities to achieve unit performance indicators and meet relevant standards
