Career Opportunity: Clinical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse to join our team in providing exceptional care to patients suffering from life-limiting illnesses.

As a Clinical Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, leading quality improvement activities, and promoting a culture of safety and respect within the unit.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Practice in accordance with professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
  • Lead quality improvement activities and provide clinical portfolio holder management of relevant National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards within the unit.
  • Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with organisational values.
  • Actively participate in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, work health and safety and ethical behaviour.
Requirements and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification.
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Capacity to lead and manage quality improvement initiatives.
