At C&K Childcare & Kindergarten, we're seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher Director to lead our team at the C&K Kingston Community Kindergarten. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our children and supporting their growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of passionate educators to deliver a high-quality educational program for children in our play-based learning environment.
  • Develop and implement engaging and inclusive learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs of our children.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive team culture that promotes mutual respect, open communication, and a shared commitment to excellence.
  • Build strong relationships with families and the wider community to ensure a seamless transition between home and centre.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, trends, and best practices in early childhood education to inform your teaching and leadership practices.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or equivalent (recognised by ACECQA as an early childhood teaching qualification) or a Bachelor of Primary Teaching with an approved diploma-level qualification.
  • First Aid, CPR, and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
  • Valid Blue Card and current Police Check (issued within the last three months) or willing to obtain these.
  • A collaborative mindset and a passion for achieving long-lasting, high-quality outcomes for children, their families, and the community.
