Expert Claims Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Expert Claims Specialist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about working in the life insurance industry and have experience in claims assessment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of income protection, TPD or mixed product portfolio claims. They will determine eligibility, liability and manage the claim process, work on claims-related projects and coach and mentor junior claims specialists.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in life claims assessment, ideally across all products, sound decision-making skills, negotiation skills and may hold a qualification in legal or allied health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage an end-to-end portfolio of income protection or TPD or mixed product portfolio claims
  • Determining eligibility, liability and managing the claim process
  • Work on claims-related projects
  • Coach and mentor junior claims specialists

Requirements:

  • Life claims assessment experience (Retail and/or Group) ideally across all products
  • Sound decision-making skills and negotiation skills
  • Qualification in legal or allied health will be highly regarded
