We are seeking a seasoned Hospitality Professional to lead our steward team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing, coordinating and leading the stewards to achieve high standards in health and safety, product knowledge, and cleaning duties.

  • Motivate team members to achieve high standards of health and safety in the kitchen environment.
  • Ensure all systems, policies, procedures, and standards are implemented and maintained.
  • Manage and coordinate the stewards, including resource planning, training, mentoring, recruitment, performance management, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Ensure all team members have a high level of product knowledge of chemicals.
  • Apply and monitor food safety procedures.
About This Opportunity
  • The successful candidate will possess relevant industry experience within a large multi-outlet venue.
  • They will also hold an associated industry qualification, such as Food Safety Certification.
  • A thorough understanding of HACCP principles and chemical safety is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, delegation, and guidance abilities are required.
  • Self-organization, problem-solving, and time management skills are also necessary.
  • General computer knowledge is expected.
  • A Manual Driver's license is mandatory.
  • A Forklift license is desirable.
