Senior Kitchen Supervisor

We are seeking a seasoned kitchen professional to lead our Food & Beverage department as a Senior Kitchen Supervisor. In this role, you will oversee the steward team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, and quality.

  • Motivate and manage a high-performing team to achieve exceptional results in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Develop and implement systems, policies, procedures, and standards to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen area.
  • Provide comprehensive training to new stewards to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the steward team, providing constructive feedback and coaching for improvement.
  • Coordinate resource planning, training, mentoring, recruitment, performance management, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Ensure all team members have a deep understanding of product knowledge and adhere to industry standards.
  • Implement and enforce food safety procedures to prevent contamination and ensure a hygienic kitchen environment.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Prior experience working in a large multi-outlet venue, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Relevant industry certification, such as Food Safety Certification, is highly regarded.
  • Knowledge of HAACP principles and chemical safety practices.
  • Excellent communication, delegation, and guidance skills.
  • Self-organization, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer software and manual driving.
