Job Summary

The role involves selling property and casualty, life, and roadside assistance insurance to meet customers' needs. You will be accountable for achieving assigned sales goals while providing an exceptional customer experience.

  • Solicit new business and serve existing insured customers.
  • Retain policies and participate in promotions, events, and marketing activities.
  • Cross-sell all relevant insurance products.

You will guide customers in the purchase of appropriate products and coverage under limited managerial supervision. This role requires strong sales skills, advanced consultative selling techniques, and thorough product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use sales techniques and product knowledge to identify customer-specific needs.
  • Meet or exceed targets as defined in the sales incentive plan.
  • Conduct insurance reviews, assess risk, recommend products, quote, bind, and issue policies.
  • Establish rapport with customers to enhance their affinity to the brand.
  • Solicit and market to business and community events, perform outbound calling, and cross-sell/up-sell new and existing customers.

Respond to customer inquiries and requests relating to insurance products and membership. Research and resolve complex customer service issues, often assisting the customer in initiating the first notice of loss on claims.

Requirements
  • High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of relevant insurance industry work experience required.
  • Possess active and unrestricted state-issued license(s) required to place property and casualty insurance.
  • Knowledge of desktop systems, including Microsoft Office software applications.

This is a commission-based role on top of a guaranteed hourly base rate of pay, with potential compensation ranging from $90,000 to $250,000.
