Job Overview
Aged care professional sought to provide home help services and personal care for our elderly clients. As a key member of our team, you will make a positive difference in the lives of others.

Responsibilities
You will be providing our aged care clients with:

  • General housekeeping and making beds
  • Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors
  • Washing, folding and ironing laundry
  • Meal preparation and grocery shopping

Personal Care Services
You will also be providing our aged care clients with:

  • Getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed for the day
  • Assisting clients to take their medications
  • Assisting with mobility and therapy goals
  • Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia
  • Providing social and emotional support
  • Providing the client with transport to lifestyle activities or appointments
  • Helping the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things

Requirements
We are looking for someone who has:

  • A valid Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle
  • Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support or Disability
  • Experience of 6 months or more in a similar role, with experience in personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications

  • Award rate $33.82 per hour + Super + paid KM's
