Campus Security Manager

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and detail-oriented individual to lead and deliver high-quality security services across our complex multi-site operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional leadership in delivering a professional, visible and customer-focused security service.
  • Manage large-scale security contracts with a focus on high performance, compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee multi-site security operations and integrated technology solutions including CCTV, access control and intruder detection systems.
  • Offer expert security and emergency management advice to senior executives and committees.
  • Develop and implement effective security incident management protocols, investigation processes and awareness initiatives.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including police and emergency services.
  • Lead and coach a diverse team to achieve excellence in security and safety outcomes.
Selection Criteria:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and extensive experience in large-scale security operations and contract management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in integrated security technology solutions and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams and fostering a positive work culture.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills across all levels of an organisation.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and oversee vendor performance.
  • Current and relevant security licenses with eligibility to act as a Nominated Person on a Master Security License.
