Haematology Specialist Position

About this Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced specialist to provide medical services in haematology, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with blood disorders. The successful candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

  • Provide specialist medical services in haematology;
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care;
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and research in haematology, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes;
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to haematology services.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent qualification;
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent;
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA);
  • Right to work in Australia;
  • Strong clinical skills and experience in haematology;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Willingness to participate in professional development and stay current with industry developments.
