**About the Role**:

Reporting to the Director of Radiation Oncology, supported by Icon's extensive doctor network and working closely with local clinical/operational teams, tour Radiation Oncologists provide high-quality, evidence-based Radiation Oncology services) to Icon Cancer Centre patients.

Located within St Andrew's Toowoomba Hospital, Icon Toowoomba proudly provides radiation oncology services for residents of the Darling Downs and the greater South West Region, complementing the existing medical oncology service provided within St Andrew's Cancer Care. It is a well-integrated, dynamic service with a strong focus on high quality, patient-centric care. Icon Toowoomba has been part of the community for more than 15 years', and is a highly regarded source of pride within the community.

Icon Toowoomba cares for a broad mix of patients and presentations and proudy offers the latest radiotherapy techniques and equipment to local patients, including VMAT, DIBH, IGRT and stereotactic capabilities. Our Radiation Oncologists attend established local multidisciplinary team meetings, and are supported by robust, doctor-led governance structures and enjoy close links to all other Icon sites. Our clinical leadership structure ensures that regular access to colleagues, support, and collaboration is readily available. We are part of an extensive network of cancer centres throughout the country and draw on the experience, knowledge, and support of this large network of clinicians to offer quality local treatment.

**Mandatory Requirements**
- Current Registered Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
- Sub-speciality training in Radiation Oncology holding the Fellowship of the Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Radiation Oncologists (RANZCR)
- The right to live and work in Australia
- Compliance as a healthcare provider with credentialing and compliance requirements such as immunisation, insurance etc.
